These are pictures I take on walks around Portland (usually SE). This has something to do with curiosity, loss, change, and the feeling you get when you come across a newly constructed building and ask yourself, "What used to be here?" even though you walked past it every day.

If you were to write a book about Portland Today, this could be the cover.
i love pictures and paintings of laundry day. the fact that it is taken on washington street, makes me love it even more.
